Synth Magic ZED 80 Vol 2 KONTAKT
This Kontakt instrument uses sounds sampled from various 80's samplers and 80's synths. In creating this slection of sounds I wanted to provide an instrument that will have a wide range of sounds that will hopefully come in usefull in various studio situations. Some users of Zed Volume 1 have stated it has come in very handy in some studio sessions and a sound contained has rescued a session. Over 1.5GB of samples compressed to just over a GB using NI's compression and well over 200 presets ready for your musical productions or tweek away using the graphical user interface. The libraries of Vol1 and Vol2 do have a lower fi vibe to them due to the nature of the older samplers some of the sounds have come from. I think it is true older samplers do have a certain magic to them and vibe.

Graphical user interface has been designed by Anders Hedstrom (Flavours of Lime).

The output from the samplers was connected to a series of vintage valve pre-amps before sampling for use in Kontakt.

The sounds in this collection will be suited to most styles of music from ambient/electronica to dance music.

Lots of bass sounds, haunting pads, atmospheres, keys and MULTI Kontakt instruments.

There are lots of bass sounds both analogue and digital aswell as lots of haunting pads and strings, organs, spacey strings/choirs, weird atmospheres etc.

All sounds are loaded into memory at the same time and then selected from a simple drop down list which makes sample banks selection quick, easy and fun.
Synth Magic ZED 80 Vol 1 KONTAKT

This Kontakt instrument uses sounds we sampled into a Casio FZ-1 sampler, various 1980s samplers, synths and drum machines.

Over 1.5GB of samples compressed to just over a 1GB using Native Instruments’ compression and over 300 presets ready for your musical productions or tweak away using the custom graphical user interface.

I have been a user of the FZ-1 for many years and love the way it adds ‘that extra something’ to anything sampled into it. The FZ-1 and other older, lower bit rate samplers have a great effect on sampled material - similar to the EMU SP12/SP1200. What gets sampled in seems to come out with a certain vibe, hard to describe, but works really well.

The output from the samplers was connected to a series of vintage valve pre-amps before sampling for use in Kontakt.

If you like sounds and drums suitable for Depeche Mode/New Wave-style tracks, John Foxx, old-school rave, 1980s disco, modern dance, abstract experimental electronica, chillout, film scores, then this collection of sounds is for you (check out the Replicant demo below for Blade Runner-type sounds).

Zed80 Vol. 1 comes with hundreds of great drum sounds which have a great vibe to them and they have all been mapped into ready-to-use kits. They are perfect for all types of electronic music production. Check out the audio demos and video to hear just a small selection of the drums available in this instrument.

There are lots of juicy bass sounds both analogue and digital, as well as lots of great pads, strings, organs, werli pianos, stabs, hits, percussion, weird fx, vocal synths… lots and lots of sounds to get stuck into.

ZED 80 Vol. 1 was originally marketed as FZED. This updated version has a GUI designed by Anders Hedström (Flavours of Lime) and an extra batch of samples and presets.

If you own the earlier version of FZED and have not received the update to the latest version then please contact us and I will send the latest version to you.

Synth Magic ZOM ZOM KONTAKT
ZOM ZOM is a library of a Polymoog 280a - sampled using really high end converters. Scripted to use very little CPU and direct from disc streaming uses very small memory footprint. I really wanted to do the Polymoog 280a justice and believe I have with Zom Zom.

For me, this is the definitive Polymoog 280a library. I have sampled both the Main and Direct Outputs to ensure you have all of the variation in sounds of the real 280a. Every sound the 280a is capable of is here, and with the extra added features, lots of new and exciting sounds can be created - all with that amazing Polymoog sound!

The Polymoog 280a is famous for its Vox Humana preset/sound which is amazing, but the 280a is so much, much more than just the Vox Humana sound.

When I first got my Polymoog I thought the Vox Humana sound was the only sound I would be interested in - I was wrong. The sounds it makes are really very special, and have graced so many albums over the years that you find yourself playing the sounds and thinking, "oh yeah, this is off that album…”

A perfect keyboard/synth for songwriters who want to add some great analogue and familiar sounds to their songs, or the synth-pop music producer or synth experimenter.
Synth Magic Oberheim Xpander KONTAKT-MAGNETRiXX

All samples are streamed direct from disk to ensure a small memory footprint in Kontakt.

All samples available via an easy to use drop down menu from the graphical user interface.

If you like the sound of oberheim synthesisers, you will really like this sample collection.
Synth Magic Tandberg KONTAKT-MAGNETRiXX
Tandberg synth for Kontakt 4.2.3 and higher(full retail version of Kontakt is required)
This Kontakt synth is based on sounds taken from various analogue keyboards and synths and recorded through valves to a Tandberg domestic Cassette deck which was then sampled and mapped into Kontakt.

Instruments used comprise Jen Piano 73(lovely analogue piano that is becoming quite a sort after instrument), Jen DK-20, Moog Prodigy, various Italian synths, Skyline 49 and more.

The sound of The Tandberg synth has a low-fi, earthy and organic quality to it thanks to the tapes and valves used.
All waveforms are availble from a simple drop down menu from the main GUI and the whole thing is very simple to use without th eneed to constantly load in different waveforms - All waveforms are already loaded and easily accessed.

Instrument comes with 3 screens to it's user inteface: The main synth, control page and effects page with Delays, chorus, phasers, Impulse response reverbs with lots of great impulses.

Tandberg will add a unique flavour to your recordings by using it in the background or maybe make a full track using only the sounds from Tandberg and
